I’m a private tutor and former middle school math teacher. Some things I specialize in:

  • Making math accessible across different skill levels through foundational fluency
  • Building executive function skills to form better study habits
  • Addressing academic anxiety

I'm based in San Francisco or New York (depending on the day).

Currently:

I  work full-time for an edtech startup. We're democratizing online learning – read more about us here

Previously:

I taught middle-school math for two years at Summit Public Schools in the Bay Area. While I was at Summit, I started and coached the competition math team.

Prior to that, I was a founding employee at Kairos Academies, an innovative charter school focused on personalized learning in St. Louis, MO.

I've also done short stints at Outlier.org, Amazon, and the New York Times.

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in economics and operations and a minor in writing.
